Call to Accountability

I have been watching news events on both secular and Christian channels, and feel the Lord would have a prophetic word brought again.
God has said, "I have driven a sword in the land, both the physical and spiritual land. My sword is causing a split in the nation and in the Church. You will not sit on the fence post any longer remaining neutral, but you must choose either the left camp or the right camp. The left camp are the goats, those who will not embrace Me, will not embrace My commandments, will not hear My voice and humble themselves before Me. The right camp are the sheep, those who hear and tremble at My voice, those who acknowledge they are sinners and cry out for Me to change their hearts, those who are beginning to seek and hunger after My righteousness. If you will humble yourselves and cry out to Me and seek after My righteousness then I will move in the land and in your lives. I will heal the land and your hearts. I will break the strongholds in your lives and set you free. If you will not then you will reap what you have sown. I am a Holy God. I will not change. Cry out to Me while it is still day, cry out to Me while you have time, says your Lord."
Folks, we must change. I have bee listening to the talk concerning homosexuality, AIDS, the stuff happening in Congress and it has been bothering me. We tend to catagorize the problem and do not want to look at the "big picture". We must look at the root, at why these things are happening. Romans 1:18-31 says:
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness, because what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts and their senseless hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for an image resembling mortal human beings or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles. Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity, to dishonor their bodies among themselves. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural ones, and likewise the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed in their passions for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what should not be done. They are filled with every kind of unrighteousness, wickedness, covetousness, malice. They are rife with envy, murder, strife, deceit, hostility. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, contrivers of all sorts of evil, disobedient to parents, senseless, covenant-breakers, heartless, ruthless. Although they fully know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them."
We have steadfastly refused to humble and bow our knee to God, thinking that we can do what we want and worship who we want, and not have to "pay the piper." We have refused to repent, to cry out to God, to contend with Him in prayer until we know His heart and He changes us.
The outcome of those choices: we have President Obama as our President, we have horrendous legislation being passed, we have rampant homosexuality and lesbianism, we have rampant fornication and adultery going on, we have rampant deseases taking place - every vile thing imaginable is beginning to happen in the land.
Folks - it is going to get much worse. We have forsaken the one and only true God. We have forsaken the one propitiation for sin that He gave us - that being Jesus Christ who is the ONLY way we can be saved. We have spat on God's commandments. We have made buddha, the koran, and every other thing one can think of our god and our way of life.
Can we expect anything other than God's wrath to fall on us?
We must repent! We must cry out to God and change our wicked ways. We must return to the old ways - prayer and worshipping the one true God. We must acknowledge we have sinned and missed the mark.
I know this is not a popular message, that it hits against everything we are doing in this nation, that it is saying we have chosen the wrong path, that we must humble ourselves and cry out to God. But unless we change NOW we are heading for a horrendous fall. For God will break this nation and turn it back to Him. He will complete what He began many years ago. We must go back and look at Habakkuk chapter 1. God will break this nation, and we will not like the way He chooses! And it is coming soon!
Let us change course, mount up and ride with Him! Let us become men and women of God, humble ourselves and change our ways.
