Here is my problem ....

Here is the problem I have with what we are doing as a nation, with what President Obama is doing as our President, and with what we are doing as God's Church and voice.
We try to right the wrongs in the world (i.e., Afganistan and all the other war-torn areas in the world), we try to fix the problems in our nation (taxes, jobs, sexual sins), we cry and talk about the problem. In our churches we have sermons about the wrrongs and what we should do. We talk and we talk and we talk, BUT We do not do what is necessary to correct the problems!
We talk about the legislation, we get angry at decisions the government is doing, we get mad at things President Obama is putting in place. But folks! We error and sin because we do not address things properly! As I mentioned in the last prophetic word published - none of this has anything to do with non-Christians or heathens, none of this has anything to do with Islam or Muslims or any other non-Christian group in the world!
Foks - God has put the burden squarely on our shoulders. We are the restraining force against what Satan wants to do. We are accountable for standing in the gap and crying out to God until He moves His hand. We are accountable for tending this land, digging up those things that ought not to be and pulling down the Glory of God to set things in proper order. Not the government, not the Islamic religions or the Muslims or any other group! We, the Christian population, are accountable!
In Genesis 3:15 - way back in the beginning of the Bible! - God put man in the garden of Eden, representing the land, our realm of authority, and gave him the job of working the land and tending it. In Ezekiel 22:30, God said He looked for a man among the people who would build up the wall, who would stand in the gap and contend with Him so He would not have to pour out His wrath on the land - and He found NONE!
Folks, WE HAVE SINNED! WE HAVE FAILED IN WHAT GOD CALLED US TO DO! We have a few groups in various parts of the nation who are crying out to God, who are contending with Him to move His hand. But for the most part, our altars are empty, prayer closets are used as mop closets, prayer meetings that do meet are "whoas me" or bless-me clubs - we have forgotten how to contend with God, how to fight with Him until He moves His hand. We have forgotten what it means to be the priest of our home, the priest of our realm of authority. We for the most part do not know what it means to be a priest.
Folks, I charge us to change, to repent for the hardness of our hearts, to call out to a living, terrible God who has the power of life and death in His hand, who has extended His sceptor to us (as with Esther) and given us permission to come boldly into His throne room and stand before Him, who has said we can move His hand and change His mind - if we will be who we were created to be - His sons!
We have tried to fix things ourselves by legislating change, by setting new laws and a host of other things. Why? In our pride and arrogance, we want to fix things so we get the glory. We want to be the nation that saves the world. We want to be the knight in shining armor riding in on our white stallion - the one who saves the world and get all the accalades. Folks - it will not work! Everything we try so we get the glory will fail! This nation will fail! God will not share His glory. And everytime we try to fix things we are trying to steal His glory!
Foks - stop fighting against each other! Stop blowing into the wind! Stop having meetings and attempting to legislate things! Change tactics! Start doing what God has called us to do. Bend your knees in prayer and contend with God until He moves His hand and changes things!
THE ONLY THING THAT WILL CHANGE THINGS IN THIS NATION AND WORLD - THE ONLY THING THAT WILL STAY GOD'S HAND AND WRATH IS PRAYER. WE MUST RE-LIGHT THE FIRES ON OUR ALTARS. WE MUST RETURN TO THE OLD WAYS!
Here the word of God from Jeremiah 6:16, "The LORD said to his people: “You are standing at the crossroads. So consider your path. Ask where the old, reliable paths are. Ask where the path is that leads to blessing and follow it. If you do, you will find rest for your souls.”
Folks - we must repent and cry out for God to soften our hearts. We cry out for His Mercy and Grace. We must change direction and change focus! I beg of you - heed this word and change direction!
